May 2019 Meditation: Move Towards

I know it’s probably the last thing you want to do right now. Right now you might feel hurt, scared, or alone. You might feel triggered or unsafe. You most definitely are feeling vulnerable. Remember that you are love. Remember that you are loved. Remember that it is the illusion of being separate that creates those feelings of being hurt, scared, and alone. Remember that you’re not moving towards for anyone other than you. To be the kind of person you want to be in relationship. To be the kind of person you want to be in the world. Committed. Courageous. Authentic. To soften, to be vulnerable, to move ahead heart-first, is an act of strength. When you know and trust yourself deeply, it doesn’t matter how the other receives you—whether it’s a person, situation, or feeling. You are your anchor. You are the holder and the held. Hold yourself gently as you move towards. And trust that whatever happens next, you are okay. You are committed and courageous. You are strong.
